I don't get this question as often as I get asked: "How many people am I allowed to bring to my appointment?" But I think "who should I bring?" is the more important question. At my tiny bridal store in Cranston, RI, (we get nice and cozy in my 700sq ft boutique!) we can comfortably fit the bride and around 4 guests. The record? Bride and 11 GUESTS!! (It was crazy, but the energy in the store was AWESOME and the bride said YES!) So we don't really have a limit on how many guests a bride can bring, but it's important that she ask herself, "Who are the most supportive and encouraging people in my life?" "Who's opinion do I really respect?" And "Who has my best interests at heart?" The "dress decision" is a tough one -there is a lot connected to deciding on a wedding gown: tradition, family, budget, style! It's overwhelming, but equally exciting! Be cautious when deciding to bring a crowd with you and understand that the more guests, the more opinions! Bring those who will support your choices and your happiness, and you'll be skipping down that isle!
